Canada’s newest club announces open tryouts
Have you always aspired to the dizzying heights of the Canadian Soccer League? Well then, you’d better get your ass over to Milton, Ontario for the weekend of March 27 and 28; that’s when Milltown FC — the CSL’s newest club, spearheaded by Canadian soccer superman Dino Rossi — will be holding their first open tryouts.
My needless snarky opening line notwithstanding, Dino has essentially poured his life into this team, and he really deserves your support. So if you or someone you know is a talented footballer looking to play professionally in the Greater Toronto Area, head over to MillTownFC.com for more details on the tryouts and the team in general. Hell, even if you can’t kick a ball, visit the website and maybe throw your name in the hat for some season ticket packages.
A lot of people talk about wanting to see the game grow in Canada; Dino is one man who has truly put his money where his mouth is. Will you follow his lead?
